Some Thoughts of our artist Archna……….Painting is my passion and an integral part of my life. I have fascination for paintings and have experimented with practically all mediums. However, I have special liking for oil and water colors.
I started painting during my early school days. Nature attracts me most since my childhood, as it is god’s best creation. My efforts are to portray creator’s manifestation often over looked by most. That is why landscapes and nature have always found utmost importance in my paintings.
Now a day we are living in an era where stress and strain is compounded by the complexities of life. We are caught in the cobweb of time. The ecstasy of nature, the chirping birds, butterflies the colourful flowers and deep silent jungles acts as a sort of a therapy for ensuring tranquility of mind. Painting is a meditation for me, which provides tranquility, peace of mind and rejuvenation. It’s like the food for our soul to nourish our existence.
